Who we are

The Velvet Dog is a professional grooming salon located at 217 South Main Street, Herkimer NY. Our goal is to provide the highest quality services possible. We maintain a very clean, sanitary environment for all of our clients. We specialize in understanding dog behavior and temperaments. This creates a happy environment for dogs and helps us handle many different types of dogs. We strive to meet the customers wants and needs as much as possible. We truly love dogs and treat them as if they were our own.
